Finance Committee

Canon Law requires each parish to have a Finance Committee to assist the pastor in fulfilling his administrative and financial responsibilities. St. Mary's Finance Committee meets at least quarterly to develop the annual budget, monitor and control expenditures, and prepare the year-end financial report. The committee collaborates with the Parish Council and other committees to ensure:

• that parish assets and facilities are adequately maintained, and
• that the proper level of resources are appropriated to liturgies, sacraments, ministries, programs (such as religious education), the cemetery and major initiatives (like our new church).

Committee members are appointed for three year terms and currently include:
