Human Needs

The mission of the Human Needs Committee is to respond with compassion and loving action to those in need.

Our activities are designed to serve families and individuals in our community and the greater Hartford area, in partnership with charitable organizations such as Catholic Charities and local social service agencies.

The Human Needs Committee sponsors the Christmas giving tree program, food pantry collection, school supply collection and more. We continue to adapt our activities to better serve the changing needs of our community.

We welcome new members and new ideas!

The members of the Human Needs Committee send heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support of the 2018 Christmas Giving Tree Program. Your generosity has touched the lives of so many in need this holiday season. We are most grateful!

Our first Coat Drive in November was a huge success, and parishioners' generosity will keep 450 children and adults warm this winter!

We are now collecting hats, scarves, and gloves to donate to Gifts of Love.
